Verbos
Parents: Your kids are doing an awesome job! Unfortunately, they are having trouble with conjugating their verbs. They are speaking and either leaving the verb in the infinitive (For Example: I "Be" smart instead of I am smart) or they conjugate it in third person (I "is" smart). This not only sounds silly but can be confusing to the listener. Please explain this to your child as I can't use English to let them hear how silly their improper conjugation sounds. Each week I will be sending home worksheets. Please make sure they conjugate the worksheet using the five ways we do in Spanish. for Example with the verb "to be" We say:
I: Yo soy feliz.
You: Tu eres feliz.
She/He: El/Ella es feliz.
They: Ellos/Ellas son felices
We (plural): Nosotros somos felices.
You (plural): Ustedes son felices.
Verbs Homework #1: Write sentences for each person of each verb for TENER-SER-PONER using some of the vocabulary words. Write a total of 15 sentences. (View) (Download)
